We don’t just design foam concrete equipment, we use it ourselves. Every day our technicians produce high quality foam concretes with plant and equipment designed and manufactured by ourselves. Therefore, giving us a unique insight into what works and what doesn’t.

Small equipment sales

Air operated Foam generators are available ex. Stock. Junior foam generators have been provided to universities all over the country. Larger auto-batch systems are used for jobs requiring production rates of over 100m3 of foam concrete per day.

Large plant design and sales

Propump have a reputation around the world for designing and manufacturing bespoke systems. Firstly, we design materials and mixes to suit the applications required. Then, we design plant and equipment that is suitable for the environment and volumes required.

For example, this dedicated on-site foamed concrete batching plant. Designed from scratch, delivered over 700,000m3 of lightweight foamed concrete for the Combe down Mine stabilisation project. The system had 4 cement silos, and multiple staged pumps. In order to deliver material and chemical 1 km through tunnels to the point of placement.

the main compound for manufacturing foam concrete, much like an iceberg, the majority of the workings are going on underground.

Often it is practical to design a “skid” mounted system. typically a system will include a material hopper, pump. and finally, an appropriate foam generation and delivery system.

Standalone smaller systems, on the other hand, for batch production have been produced and supplied to clients all over the world. including; The Middle East, The Far East,  Australasia, North America, South America and Europe.

Foam Concrete Equipment hire

Foam generators are available to hire. These consist of wet foam type and dry foam type.

Wet foam generators

Wet foam generators use synthetic foaming agents such as Propump synthetic. These units are engine driven and use an open mesh gauze to produce foam. In turn, this produces a less dense, open structure “wetter” foam. They are typically used to manufacture higher density foamed concretes. (1400 KG – 1700kg/M3). As a result, wet foam generators are used mostly, for “pre-foam” jobs. For example, the foam is added to the base material in a mixing drum and then tipped into a trench.

Dry foam generators

These generators require a compressed air supply. the compressed air operated the chemical pump, and the lance expansion. Protein based chemicals such as Propump 26 or 40 and synthetic can be used. Consequently, they produce a heavier, thicker foam. The increased foam stability therefore means, lighter weight foamed concretes are produced. (300KG – 1400kg/M3)

Pictured below is the large autobatch foam generator. This larger foam generator features a timing unit that can be set in either seconds or minutes. Therefore, these foam generators are used for much larger jobs where larger batches are required. These units are for sale and hire.
